These terms cover every order placed at memoriesmyway.com. Memories My Way is run by Escher Media Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 05298757), registered office 213 London Road, Hadleigh, Benfleet, Essex SS7 2RD. Contact us at hello@memoriesmyway.com.

Who can order

You must be 18 or over to place an order. Films can be ordered from anywhere. Printed gifts are posted to UK addresses only for now.

What you promise us

When you upload photos or recordings, you confirm that:

• you have the right to use them;
• the person shown has agreed to be in the film, or you are their parent or legal guardian, or close family if they have died;
• if anyone in the photos is under 18, you are their parent or legal guardian and you agree to their photo and voice being used.

What we will not make

We will not make films of celebrities or public figures, films meant to deceive anyone or pass off as real footage, or anything offensive, hateful or harmful. We can turn down any order, and if we do, we refund you in full.

How your film is made

Your film is made with AI video and image tools and checked by a filmmaker before it reaches you. It is a new scene made from your photos, not a recording of something that happened.

Delivery

• Your film is delivered by email within three days of your order.
• Printed gifts are ordered once your film is finished and checked, then printed and posted by our print partner. They arrive after your film, and the time depends on the item and the post.
• Order-by dates for occasions such as Halloween and Christmas are shown on the site. They are our best guide, but we cannot control delays in the post.

If your film is not right

If your film is not what you asked for, or something looks wrong, tell us within 14 days of delivery. We will remake it. If the remake still is not right, we will refund you for the film.

If a printed gift arrives damaged or misprinted, send us a photo within 14 days and we will replace it.

Cancelling

Because every film and gift is made personally for you, the usual 14-day right to cancel an online order does not apply once we have started making it. When you order, we ask you to agree that we can start straight away and that you understand this.

If you change your mind before we start, email us and we will cancel and refund your order in full.

Your film and who owns it

Your film is yours to keep, watch, download and share with family and friends for personal use. Please do not sell it or use it for advertising.

Your film stays watchable from your card and film link for as long as Memories My Way is running, and you can download it to keep. If we ever close, we will email you at least 90 days before, with a link to download it.

We only show your film anywhere else, such as on our website or social media, if you ticked the box to let us.

Prices and payment

Prices on the site are what you pay. Payment is taken when you order, securely through Stripe.

Our responsibility to you

We make every film and gift with care. If something goes wrong that is our fault, the most we are responsible for is what you paid for that order. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under UK consumer law.

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
